Running Event Analysis

To run the event analysis engine:

1. From the Demand Planning menu, select Events, then Cannibalization Effects, and then Run Event Analysis.
   The Run Event Analysis screen appears.
   
   

   

   
   
   

2. For Start Time, select a time for the engine to start.
   

3. For Plan Start, select a start time for the DP Forecast Generation Engine plan.

4. Use the picker to select an enterprise for Enterprise Name.

5. Select the value for Hierarchy Type, Subnet Geo Type, Site Group Level No., and Product Group Level No. from the drop-down menu.

6. Select the value for the Enterprise Name, Scenario Name, Geography Enterprise, Geography Hierarchy, Product Enterprise, and Product Hierarchy using the auto-complete feature.

7. For Computation UOM, select "Currency" or "Quantity UOM".

8. For Rounding Policy UOM, select "None", "Unit", or "Currency".

9. For Event Analysis Mode, select "Cannibalization".

10. To start the engine, click Run Engine.
    A success message appears.
