Reviewing the Platform Core Models

We'll start by browsing the core models that are a part of any module project.

Procedure 4.1. To view the Platform Core Models

1. Open the Module Process Template in Studio by double-clicking the MPT's icon in the Navigator pane.

2. After several seconds, the MPT will open and you should see the Outline view for the current Module. Within the tree structure is a node for Platform Core Models. The core models are documented extensively in the appendix titled "Core Model Reference". There are core models for most common data points and operations within any sufficiently complex application such as those needed to manage users, partner companies, role-based permissions, etc.
