Working with Modules
Modules are the basic building block of applications in One Network Studio. Modules can be standalone servers that perform entire feature sets, or they can be pieces to a larger puzzle by contributing their services to a collection of modules that work together.
Modules are built using data models, business logic, workflows, user interfaces, and reports. All of these items are built-in Studio based primarily on Java code and XML based configurations.
This chapter will explore working with data models and related structures such as permissions, workflows, transactions, and state machines.
We cover user interfaces and reports in separate chapters of this user guide.
