Create a Forecast Profile

Users can create a Forecast Profile for the Demand Planning Engine.

Complete the following steps to create a forecast profile:

1. From the Demand Planning menu, select Life Cycle Forecasting, and then Create Forecast Profile.
   The Create Forecast Profile page appears.
   
   

   

   
   
   

2. For Item, select an item for the forecast profile.

3. For Phase Type, select either Phase In or Phase Out from the drop-down menu.

4. For Curve Type, select an option from the drop-down menu.

5. The Curve Type Equation offers parameters for the equation selected. Enter valid parameters for all required variables.

6. Once all information has been entered, click the Preview button to see a graph of the forecast profile equation.
   
   

   

   
   
   

7. To create the profile, click the Create button. A success message appears.
