While more traditional decision support or planning technologies have focused on longer-term macro problem solving, One Network SDK incorporates a new type of intelligence that leverages the real-time transactional nature of the Platform to provide shorter-term, distributed problem-solving in support of execution processes. This decision support technology is called NEO Agents.

The NEO Agents feature was previously named the Intelligent Execution Manager (IXM) Engine. The term NEO Agents will be used going forward, but users should expect all uses of IXM Engine to be synonymous with NEO Agents in ONE documentation and software.
