Run Results

An engine may also generate a result record(s) that describe the engine execution. Engines normally work with Grid Job and Grid Task. The Grid describes in very good detail how the engine is executed, but it’s usually not readable by the end-user AND it has a limited lifespan due to the platform purging the data. A record that records when the engine was run, options that may have been set when running, issues it may have had during a run is useful to an end-user that is responsible for managing the engine.
