Viewing Container Move Cost Estimates

You can view an estimate of costs, related to a specific container move including base rates, accessorial rates, and site accessorial (demurrage) rates. The costs are based on the number of container moves and the type of containers associated with the movement.

Before this cost estimate can be used, the per-equipment cost rating must be defined in a base rate.

Complete the following steps to view container move cost estimates:

1. L og in to the ONE system.

2. Locate the shipment which owns the container move by searching for the shipment number in the search bar.

   For shipments with multiple legs, searching for the shipment by shipment number, and then adding an asterisk after the shipment number shows the shipment and all of its associated legs.

3. Click a link in the Cost column. This column contains an estimated shipment cost.
   
   
   
   The Cost Details screen appears.
   
   
   

   The screen displays the costs of the movement associated with the selected shipment leg. These costs are categorized into types of costs, including Base Rate, Accessorial Rate, Site Accessorial Rate (Demurrage), and so on.
