Types of Engines

NEO offers several different types of engines. Sometimes people confuse Optimization with an Engine. But not all engines are Optimizations. An Engine may be a simple calculation of mean and standard deviation of demand for every buffer in the system. An Optimization is an Operations Research term stating that a particular solution produces the best possible result - not a good result or even a very good result but rather an Optimal result.
