Computing Inventory Burn-Off Issues

The Issue Computation Engine provides visibility to replenishment buffer-level burn-off with calculations as follows:

1. Inventory Burn-Off Date Earlier than Item Substitution Start Date: For a given buffer, this calculation compares the latest ONE-calculated Buffer Inventory Burn-Off Date to the Item Substitution Start Date, where the Buffer Item equals the Item Substitution Base Item.
   

2. Inventory Burn-Off Date More than 6 Months: For a given buffer, this calculation compares the latest ONE-calculated Buffer Inventory Burn-Off Date to the system date.

The data from the engine run can be accessed via alerts, reports, and widgets.

Complete the following steps to compute inventory burn-off issues:

1. L og in to the ONE system.

2. Click Menus/Favs > Replenishment > Inventory Burn-Off > Compute Inventory Burn-Off Issues.
   In the NEO UI, users can click on the Menus/Favs icon on the left sidebar and type in the name of the screen in the menu search bar. For more information, see "Using the Menu Search Bar."

3. Fill out the following fields. Fields with an asterisk ( * ) are required.

   Field	Description
   Start Time	Use the calendar and clock tools to select the start date and time to run the engine.
   * Item Ent	Use the picker tool to select the enterprise.
   Item Name	Use the picker tool to select the item name.
   Site	Use the picker tool to select the site name associated with the time.
   Email Notification	Check the box to receive a notification via email.
   Ignore Run Replenishment Flag Value	Check the box to ignore the value of the Run Replenishment flag when building the subnet and computing issues.

4. Click the Run Engine button.
   The Job State fields populate with the data from the run, and if set, an email notification is sent.
