Invoking Continuous Move Optimization
The continuous move optimization service creates the linkage of multiple shipments with complimentary drop-off and pick-up points performed by the same carrier. The continuous move is unique in that it does not involve multiple legs or the consolidation of multiple shipments but the actual end-to-end linkage of separate shipments. The configuration of these separate shipments does not really matter. They may be either point-to-point, aggregations or multi-stops.
Complete the following steps to invoke continuous move optimization:
L og in to the ONE system.
Select Menus/Favs > Planning > Continuous Move Optimization.
In the NEO UI, users can click on the Menus/Favs icon on the left sidebar and type in the name of the screen in the menu search bar. For more information, see "Using the Menu Search Bar."
The Continuous Move Optimization screen appears.Select a Location using the picker tool.
Select a date and time for the Start Time and Expiry Time.
Click Run.
The screen shows the planning is in progress.To refresh the status, click the refresh link.
The results appear.
