Chain Engine Configuration Report

The Chain Engine Config report provides an optional set of execution checks that can be configured on each engine run within a chain. The execution checks include thresholds, notifications, and abort initiation. The enhancement provides configuration flexibility and monitoring by allowing users to add and update line configuration details.

Complete the following steps to view the Chain Engine Config report:

  1. L og in to the ONE system.

  2. Click Menus/Favs > Tools > Chain Engine > Chain Engine Config Report.
    The Chain Engine Config Report displays.

  3. Click an Enterprise Name link to view the profile for the enterprise.

  4. Edit the * Name if necessary.

  5. Click the Engine Config Display Name link to view the chain engine configuration line details.

  6. Click the edit icon (pencil) to edit a configuration line to edit an existing line, or click the Add link to add a new configuration line.

  7. Fill out the following fields. Fields with an asterisk ( * ) are required.

    Field

    Description

    * Engine

    Select the engine from the dropdown list.

    Engine Display Name

    Enter a name for the engine configuration.

    * Run Order

    Enter a numerical value for the run order.

    Execution Monitor Config

    Enter configuration details.

    Parameters

    1. Edit the values for the Name and Value of the parameter for any existing configuration lines.

    2. Click the Add button to add a parameter.
      A new row displays.

    3. Click the Delete button to remove a parameter.
      The row is deleted.

  8. Click the OK button.

  9. Click the Invoke Chain Engine button to run the chain engine.
    The Invoke Chain Engine screen displays. See the "Chain Engine" section in the Online Help for more information.

  10. Click the Update Chain Engine Config button to save the configuration.
    A green success message displays.
