Premium Service Levels (PSLs)

This section describes the Premium Service Level concept, how to enable it, and how to use it once it is enabled. Only the Transportation Manager is able to enable this feature for other role types. Other roles are able able to work with Premium Service Levels once the Transportation Manager grants access to the other role(s).

This feature gives the Transportation Manager the ability to control which roles are able to create shipments with premium service levels. Only roles with the proper permissions are able to create premium shipments. Only users who are granted this permission can see premium service levels as an option when creating a shipment. Only the Transportation Manager is able to enable this feature for other role types. Other roles are able able to work with premium service levels once the Transportation Manager allows them access.
