Assembly Management

An assembly process has been added to WMS. Additionally, assembly roles have been created for users in the system. There are two types of assembly processes: Make to Order (MTO), and Make to Stock (MTS). The chain of responsibility includes:

  • Assembly Supervisor - Assigns and reviews work for Assembly Worker

  • Assembly Worker - Responsible for performing assembly tasks

  • Warehouse Clerk - Responsible for inventory operations

  • Warehouse Manager - Extends authorizations and policies to Warehouse Clerk

After creation, assembly orders can be searched in the system by users with proper credentials. The Work Order Search can be filtered by:

  • Order Number

  • Item

  • Specific Item

  • Work Site

  • Work Location

  • Hold Blocking

  • Planned Start Date

  • Planned End Date

  • Actual Start Date

  • Actual End Date

  • State

  • Assigned To
