ASN Holds

There are a number of reasons an ASN might be placed on hold. These reasons fall under two main categories: date validation issues or quantity validation issues. The following are possible reasons for an ASN hold:

• Early Delivery

• Late Delivery

• Over Shipping Tolerance Hold

• Source Inspection Requirement Flag

• Quantity Details

• Hazmat Flag without Hazmat Information

• Repair Item Flag without Information

• Order Line State Hold (Open, Back-ordered, New, Partially Shipped and In Fulfillment)

• Multiple Holds

• Manually Added Hold

When an ASN is placed on hold, it will not enter into any other state until the hold is resolved. This effectively blocks the shipment from taking place.

• Resolving ASN Holds

• Searching ASN Holds

• Overriding ASN Holds

• Reassigning ASN Holds
